About Me...

Hello, my name is Robert L.  and I enjoy being an Elvis Tribute Artist.

It all started years ago when I was the bass player in a rock band.  I sang a song
recorded by Elvis called "Crying in the chapel".  I received a lot of compliments
for that song and although I sang many other songs, in the back of my mind I
knew that singing Elvis was more challenging and more rewarding than other
artists.

Years later I groomed my voice to sing other artists but Elvis always took a back
seat until three years ago in Seaside Heights, NJ on Columbus Day weekend
when I donned an Elvis jumpsuit.  The people walking in the parade saw me
sitting along the curb in a beach chair and immediately started shouting "HEY
ELVIS".  I was then pulled into the parade by the crowd and eventually felt
excepted.  People were stopping to take pictures with me and suddenly I started
to feel closer to Elvis.  I was then asked to sing a few songs, and that's how it all
began.

I love keeping Elvis alive.  People seem to enjoy it so i think i'll keep on going.

I hope you find this website at least a sampling of my personality and image.
